Luis M. Hinojosa Martínez es Catedrático de Derecho Internacional Público y Relaciones Internacionales de la Universidad de Granada, donde ha sido Director del Departamento de Derecho Internacional Público (2009-2017) y, previamente, Director del Centro de Documentación Europea de dicha Universidad (1999-2009). También es Presidente de la European Society of International Law. Igualmente es miembro del Editorial Board del European Journal of International Law, del Comité Asesor de la Revista de Derecho Comunitario Europeo y antiguo miembro del Consejo de Redacción de la Revista Española de Derecho Internacional. También es miembro de la Junta Directiva de la AEDEUR (Asociación Española para el Estudio del Derecho Europeo), miembro de la SIEL (Society of International Economic Law), y miembro de la AEPDIRI (Asociación Española de Profesores de Derecho Internacional y Relaciones Internacionales), y antiguo miembro de su Comité Ejecutivo. Fue Coordinador de Ciencias Sociales y Jurídicas de la Agencia Andaluza de Evaluación entre 2008 y 2011.
