Leonor Moral Soriano is Professor of Public Law at the University of Granada. Her research training combines Legal theory, Education law and European law. She received her Ph.D in Law at the European University Institute (Florence). She earned a Marie Skłodowska-Curie scholarship to conduct her research at the University of Edinburgh with Professor MacCormick. She worked along with political scientists as Senior researcher at the Max-Planck Institute for Common Goods in Bonn. She has been Legal Advisor at the Cabinet of the Secretary General of Education. In 2012 she was appointed Counsellor of Education in the Permanent Representation of Spain to the European Union, Brussels. Since 2016, she assists the European Commission in analysis of the education policy for the European Semester. She is leading a research project on the use of precedents in Civil Law Systems. She has national and international publications in Law and Political Science.
